Job Overview:
As an associate engineer in design analysis of armaments components and systems, the candidate will perform engineering tasks under close supervision of senior engineering staff.

Responsibilities:
70% - Perform design analysis of armaments systems by following established methods and procedures in explosive shock dynamics and detonation phenomena. Apply engineering knowledge and techniques to the solution of basic engineering problems in designing explosive devices. Verify design solutions with finite element modeling techniques using hydrocodes.

30% - Coordinate technical activities and track schedule and budget performance of projects under the direction of senior engineers. Interface with manufacturing and test engineers.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering with emphasis in "Explosives Engineering" REQUIRED, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security clearance at the appropriate level (U.S. Citizenship required).
